The engineering team at AMC has made some major breakthroughs relative to lower voltage servo drives.

We are proud to introduce the BE15A3!

This drive is similar to the BE15A8 series in every way except the operating voltage range has been lowered to 9 - 30VDC. This applies to current (torque) mode, open loop (voltage) mode, encoder or Hall (BE15A3-H) velocity modes as needed. All of this while also providing +5VDC, up to 200mA, through the on-board courtesy power supply for typical encoder power and other TTL level I/O needs.

As a side note, we just shipped our first customer requested 12VDC revision (11 - 16VDC) to a Z-series product too.

Although the product line needs redesign to accomodate this lower voltage, all of the products can be modified for the right customer.
